Last night I overheard Hope saying "Don´t tell mom". That´s my clue to jump in on the conversation. I said "Don´t tell mom what?" She said "That Patience touched the scorpion that was in our floor." Yeah, don´t tell mom!! Why did I ask?!
A couple of days ago I had gotten onto the kiddos for yelling outside. Bolivians are a much quieter people than North Americans. As are most of the peoples of the world. Anyway, a few minutes later Patience came in and told me that the kids are still screaming. I asked her to ask them to be quieter. She said "Should I yell it down to them out of your window?"

Oh my! Your kids are funny! And yes, North Americans are LOUD. Annoyingly loud. Can't wait 'til June when I can return to a place where people always stay in a nice normal decibel!
Denise, I just wanted to take a minute and say thanks to you and your family for sharing Joe with us!! His message at BRBC last Sunday was just what our family needed to hear. With all that we have been going throughIt was very uplifting and reminded us of how we should be living our lives.
Please keep us in your prayers. I am alomst done with the chemo. Then I get scans done to see if surgery is needed. Pleases tell Joe we are so sorry to hear about his dad. We know exactly how he must be feeling. We will keep you all in our prayers !! ( as always ) :)
